We had to cut up some wood to get ready for this winter and we knew we would need some extra power tools to get the job done right. The log splitters were going to be okay on their own but we had some people who needed an external power source because their saws were electrical saws so in order to be able to help cut they needed to have some power.
My cousin jumped on generator reviews and picked out a great unit that could power all of our equipment including the lights if we wanted to work into the night. We were all set to do all the work we wanted as long as we had enough fuel for the generators and the saws.
The day went well as we worked from sun up to sun down, the only time we stopped was to sharpen the blades on the saws and to get more gas and oil. We love our new found freedom from cords!

I am amazed with my new chlorine shower filters. I can’t believe just how fantastic my showers are. I am used to taking a shower and lathering up with tons of moisturizers right after to keep my skin from getting too dry. Right after installing it, I noticed an improvement in the water quality immediately. There was no more chlorine smell in my shower. Most of the time, I’m a pretty laid back person. However, there are a couple of things that just make me want to blow a gasket, and pest animals or bugs is at the top of the list. I hate them so much! At first, I was going to just poison them all and clean it off with a pressure washer. My daughter begged me not to, because she said she’d feel guilty if we just killed them. So to keep the peace at home, I started to look for alternatives that would get the darn birds to go away, and keep them from coming back. After doing lots of reading online, bird spikes became the obvious choice. They make the area uninhabitable so the flying rats won’t make a nest there. It’s also simple to install.
